Staffordshire Women’s Aid is run by a team of staff and volunteers who are passionate about ending Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence and Violence Against Women and Girls.

We are committed to ensuring that individuals subjected to any form of violence against women and girls are involved at every level of our organisation. Therefore, we welcome applications from individuals with lived experience of violence and abuse who also meet the person specification, so we can work together to amplify survivors’ voices and ensure our organisation is user centred.

STAFFORDSHIRE SURVIVE MENTAL HEALTH CARE CO-ORDINATOR – 30 Hours (Female)  

Staffordshire Women’s Aid (SWA) is looking to recruit a Mental Health Care Co-ordinator, on a 30 hours per week basis.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and organised individual to co-ordinate referrals and care between Staffordshire Survive, specialist support services and the NHS Ascend Sexual Abuse Recovery Service, ensuring survivors receive timely, holistic and joined-up care that meets their individual needs.

You will support survivors of sexual violence, many of whom experience complex mental health needs, to provide formalised peer support and practical assistance in order for them to regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process. This role will play a key part in advocating for clients, promoting recovery, increasing referrals and reducing barriers to service access and engagement.

Hours: 30 hours per week

Salary: £22,112 – £23,005 per annum (30hrs)

Location: Lichfield and Stafford Women’s Centres (Office based, requirement to travel throughout South Staffordshire, occasional home working)

CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE’S INDEPENDENT SEXUAL VIOLENCE ADVISOR (ChISVA) (Female)  

Staffordshire Women’s Aid (SWA) is looking to recruit a full time Children’s Independent Sexual Violence Advisor.

Survive Sexual Assault & Abuse Service offers a free, non-judgmental and confidential service for adults, children over the age of 4, and close family members/significant others who have been affected by sexual assault or abuse at any point during their lives across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

As part of Survive, you will deliver a high-quality ChISVA service to children and young people who have experienced sexual violence, sexual abuse, or sexual coercion. This will help meet the needs of victims, providing accurate information on criminal justice processes, victims’ rights under the Victim’s Code of Practice and referring to other services as appropriate ensuring that survivors have access to a range of specialist support.

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £26,738 – £29,519 per annum

Location: Stafford
