Staffordshire Women’s Aid is run by a team of staff and volunteers who are passionate about ending Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence and Violence Against Women and Girls.

Please be aware that as a local charity we do not have the capacity to provide feedback on applications that are not selected for interview.

We are committed to ensuring that individuals subjected to any form of violence against women and girls are involved at every level of our organisation. Therefore, we welcome applications from individuals with lived experience of violence and abuse who also meet the person specification, so we can work together to amplify survivors’ voices and ensure our organisation is user centred.

REFUGE HOUSEKEEPER & HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER (FEMALE)

Staffordshire Women’s Aid (SWA) is looking to recruit a Refuge Housekeeper & Health and Safety Officer.

SWA provides a range of high-quality, safe accommodation for women and children fleeing domestic violence, including a 12-unit purpose-built refuge and four units of dispersed refuge accommodation within Stafford Borough.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out health and safety checks across all our refuge properties. You will also undertake cleaning and maintenance of communal areas within the refuge, as well as preparing flats for new families.

Hours: 20 hours per week

Salary: £13,104 (20hrs)

Location: Stafford
